Pacquiao vs Cotto Live Introduction

Pacquiao vs Cotto Live. Master promoter Bob Arum was sealed right after the Pacquiao-Oscar de la Hoya bout. Pacquiao himself agreed to the fight after he personally witnessed the Cotto-Joshua Clottey encounter which the pride of Puerto Rico won. And the world now braces itself for November 14 in Las Vegas. The fight is very important for both gentlemen. A win by Pacquiao would further strengthen his place in boxing history as he would be annexing his seventh title. A Cotto victory, on the other hand, would provide the Puerto Rican with the much-needed resurgence in his career and the distinction of stopping the dominant Filipino’s streak. Pacquiao vs Cotto Live Sparringmate

Intrigued by the presence of a former world champion from Mexico, Freddie Roach didn’t waste time in knowing if Jose Luis Castillo is up to the task of sharing the ring with Manny Pacquiao, who is revving up for a November 14 clash with Miguel Cotto. Well, Castillo proved Roach was wrong.

Pacquiao adviser Mike Koncz said Roach was impressed with Castillo’s performance. Roach had initially balked at the idea of importing the 35-year-old Castillo after hearing reports that the ex-World Boxing Council lightweight king has rekindled his long-time association with his favorite brew. Pacquiao vs Cotto Live Numerous News

Pacquiao vs Cotto Live. Numerous news online that Miguel Cotto will knocked out Manny Pacquiao on Nov. 14. But I don't believe in this issue. Pacquiao (49-3-2, 37 KOs), of General Santos City, Philippines, has won six world titles in as many different weight divisions ranging from 112 to 140 pounds. His performance in 2008 was described as “Henry Armstrongesque,” winning world titles at 130 and 135 pounds with victories over Juan Manuel Marquez and David Diaz, respectively, and knocking out and retiring Oscar De La Hoya at 147 pounds to finish the trifecta. This year, he picked up where he left off last year – winning another world title in a new weight division -- dealing defending junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton a one-punch second-round knockout on May 2.

Cotto (34-1, 27 KOs), from Caguas, Puerto Rico, has sold more tickets at Madison Square Garden in this millennium than any other fighter. He has held a world title every year since 2004. Puerto Rico’s most exciting fighter, Cotto held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior welterweight crown from 2004-2006, successfully defending it six times before vacating it to capture the World Boxing Association (WBA) welterweight title at the end of 2006, a title he held for nearly as long. He won his second welterweight title in February this year, knocking out Michael Jennings in the fifth round at Madison Square Garden to become the WBO welterweight champion. Notable scalps on Cotto’s belt include Sugar Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, Joshua Clottey, Pauli Malinaggi, and Demarcus Corley. Don't miss Pacquiao vs Cotto Live.

Slowly but surely, Manny Pacquiao is picking up more speed and more intensity in his training for the November 14 battle with Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico. “Manny’s improving each passing day,” top trainer Freddie Roach told the Bulletin after watching the lethal-hitting Filipino lefty rack up his 24th round of sparring at the Shape Up Gym in Baguio City. “It was another very good day of sparring,” said the 49-year-old Roach, who has been calling the shots in Pacquiao’s corner since mid-2001.

Roach said he hasn’t decided yet when to hike the number of sparring rounds from six to seven since Mexican body-puncher Jose Luis Castillo, touted to give Pacquiao a rough time in sparring, hasn’t arrived yet even though he was expected to show up last Friday. The sparring time of continues in preparation to his upcoming fights with Cotto.
